Hello everyone! Hope all of you are doing well. If you haven’t seen me around the last couple of days, it’s due to my laptop giving up on me; yes, the laptop crashed! And with our move this weekend, I haven’t been able to give it much time. At the moment, I have just managed to squeeze a little time from Dinesh’s laptop and drop by to say hello.
We are very near to wrapping up our lives in this house and head for the next one. Moreover, moving into the new house also means that we will be without an internet connection for quite a few days ( probably till the first week of the New year). So, if you do not find me replying to your comments and emails, you will know the reason why! But, please do leave your mark and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
By the way, quite a few things have changed in the last couple of days. Just when we did not expect it, there was snowfall; it is snowing now as I type. Just a few days ago, we felt as if winter was far away, and now the bitterly cold outdoors, the hard, frozen ground, tge clumps of snow hanging from the branches of the bare trees confirms that it has finally arrived! In fact, we have not seen this much of snow in our neck of the woods for quite a few years now.

In the midst of all that snowfall, we went ice skating a couple of days ago and that too in an open air skating rink. Though we were numbed by the end of it all, the steadily falling snow added to the charm. The only dampner- I forgot to take the camera!! Ah well! We were cold to the bones by the end of it all, but it was great fun, and yes, the cup of hot chocolate afterwards really helped!
Rengoni and Agastya’s school closed a day early for the holidays too due to the heavy snowfall. Actually, they were all dressed and ready to attend the last day of school before the holidays ( on Friday), when we got the news of the school closure; as you can see, they were not too disappointed!

We are looking forward to starting our life in a different house. It is our last night in this house today and I can see the last few boxes around me waiting to travel to the new house.
As I have mentioned earlier, we may be without an internet connection for quite a few days. By the time I post again, it will probably be the New Year. So, here’s wishing all my dear readers a Merry christmas and a very Happy and Healthy New Year!

I must have quoted the following, last year too, but I love it so much that I am going to repeat it -
“People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas”
See you all in the New Year!
Take care,
